Libraries and community centres appear to have been saved after an environment that is able to raise money to save Center of Clunie.
Group of friends of the East Sacramento raised the $ 45,000 needed to pay for their first year of operation, plus their plans to launch the Center for meetings and events.
The Centre houses the library, Clunie McKinley who had cut their hours because of budget cuts. City of Sacramento lost money in the Centre of Clunie open last year, and many are worried the historic buildings will be on the chopping block.
Hastings also said they began a campaign FOX40 capital raising $ 60,000, and has received over $ 15,000 donation to restore the Centre of Clunie.
