Jennifer Hudson family murders: James Balfour made many threats before …

CHICAGO

Assistant State Attorney James McKay said threats began in February 2008, when James Balfour moved out of the family home where he had lived with his wife, Hudson’s sister Julia. Threats continued up until the day the body was found, dated October 24, 2008.

“He told me, ‘ If you ever leave me, I will kill you, but I’ll kill your family first ‘,” McKay said at the hearing. “‘ You will be the last to die. ‘”

Friday’s hearing came about a month before the Balfour was scheduled to stand trial in the slayings. Prosecutors accuse the Balfour family members shot because he pissed his wife dating other men. Balfour has pleaded not guilty.

Murder in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Chicago produced the main international body when Hudson’s mother and brother were found in the family home and the boy’s body was discovered in an SUV days later.

Widow of Marine Sgt. Manuel Loggins gave birth to a daughter over the weekend, barely a month after the Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy fatally shot her husband.

A family friend Loggins, Desiree Lomack, authenticated email correspondence with the birth-year Patch.

He said there was no medical problems and good family. Wife of Loggins ‘ entered the hospital Saturday, but not sure exactly when Lomack girl was born. (Respect to the family’s request for privacy, the Patch does not print the name Princess.)

In related news, Lomack is helping to organize a fundraising dinner for families Loggins at 6 March 17th in San Clemente Elks Lodge.

“This is a $ 15 per-person dinner at the door,” Lomack wrote in a Facebook page that is promoting the event. “The tape will be sold for one dollar each at the door as well.
